Sweet Sexy Short Read!

The sizzling attraction, emotional minefields, and sensual scenes between Emma and Cooper would make any romance reader's heart beat a lil faster, but it was the well-meaning antics and caring of the secondary characters that drew me in. Emma's overprotective big brothers and Cooper's pseudo-brothers stole the show for me. The connections between these families are a real bond any person would be lucky to have. I can't wait to see what Ms. James has in store for the next member of Billionaire's Anonymous Club. I hope Emma's brothers are eventually a part of this list too!

How do self-made billionaires find true love? They go through Leslie's Billionaire Online Dating Club. Using personality, not financials, to find matches in couples, Leslie has staked everything she has on her business, and she is willing to use her best friends' data to test the system.
Emma Jacobs asked Leslie to set her up on a date with a desk jockey to get her brothers off her back about dating. She is just not ready for a hook up. Who wants to move on after already finding their true love? It has been two years since he died in Afghanistan and she is still in mourning. What she was not prepared for was the instant way her body reacted to Cooper Johnson. Stock traders should NOT be able to haul hay.
Cooper Johnson enjoys his money through his 3,000-acre ranch. While finding someone to settle down with would be nice, it brings forth images of gold-diggers and paparazzi. He just wants the girl next door and finds it in Emma. It's too bad she just wants a fake boyfriend and is in love with a dead man. Except he decides she is worth the risk and goes after the challenge.
This romance is special because the rich man is going after the woman who doesn't want him. Sensual and humorous in nature, it is appropriate for most romance readers. Ella James provides the audience a roller coaster of emotional scenes that evoke empathy with Emma and Cooper. Character development is deep enough to want each of them to win, but not so immersive that the story is bogged down with useless information. While only 100 pages, the book is worth the time to read, especially since it is set up for additional billionaire bachelors to come.
Can true love happen twice in a lifetime? Can a stock trader be lucky enough to find a woman who wants him without knowing how much his portfolio is worth? Do cats have nine lives? Take the BILLIONAIRE HUSBAND TEST to see how Emma and Cooper score on the test that affects the rest of their lives.

The first test of an exclusive dating service (in more ways than one)

"Billionaire Husband Test" by Elle James (Myla Jackson) is the beginning of the `Billionaire Online Dating Service' series that features the members of a very exclusive club, starting with Frank Cooper Johnson, better known as Coop. Humoring his friend, Taggert (Tag) Bronson, Coop agrees to try out the service and is matched up to Emma Jacob. There are several drawbacks, including her four overprotective brothers, but their reluctant mutual attraction is severely complicated by the fact that Emma lost her fiance to the war a couple of years prior and is not quite sure she is ready to move on. Coop has to decide whether he wants to pursue his attraction and whether he can compete with a memory while Emma has to face whether her heart is big enough to allow someone new into her life.
This entertaining and sensual contemporary novella provides both a poignant story and a sensual romance. The tender concern displayed by Emma's brothers and her struggle with her grief and feelings of guilt form a beautiful backdrop to the entertaining trials that are placed in the way of her reluctant suitor who proves himself equal to every challenge presented to him, showing that he isn't just a helpless businessman but rather one who can meet and match the feisty woman on her terms. A lovely heartwarming tale that provides a great start to the series.
