Autobiography of a Wanderer, the Prologue to the Cosmic City details the journey of an Indian wanderer, who travels to find his happiness and destiny, to refine his skills and to underline the Grand Purpose of the humanity. The protagonist experiences the life of gypsies, the corrupt governance of Bihar in India, the life at Kholi in Mumbai, the life in India and America, etc and meets people from different faiths and origins. He learns a lot about himself and the ways of the world.
In his travels, he meets a young Muslim girl who tells him, “We all have good and bad in us,” and advises to him, “We all need to look up to positive thinking and attitude and timely weed out negatives as often as possible.” Further, he also meets a mystical saint in the hills of the Himalayas, who says, “Now, it is time for you to go. Go and live your life, be a good man, pass good knowledge, be positive about everything and travel across time and space. Your purpose in this world is served even if you live low and poor, but you must live honest, hardworking, happy and serving the humanity through creating or procreating an enlightened soul. Each one of us must be the light for at least one.” The protagonist wanders for thirty-five years in solving the puzzles of his life until he realizes that the best resource that he has is the Generational Wanderer, Gewa; who always tempts him to set out on a new journey. He yearns to connect and commune with Gewa to discuss about the crises.
Finally, he meets Gewa, who talks to him about the global crises and the role of Modern Science. Gewa suggests, “No power, no position, no wealth, no luxury, not even wine and sex can bring happiness to you unless you choose to create it for yourself! And the choice is always yours. It is a state of your mind – the Beatitude that enables you to see how your individual goal fits in the Grand Purpose of the humanity ...” He finally states, “… you can’t reach the Cosmic City through smoking weeds, wearing red robes, performing religious rites and procreation but through Modern Science – the window to the knowledge of the Truth.” But then, he also realizes that he must not stop there with the revelations of Gewa. He must also listen to the call of his heart furthermore to earn the prerequisites suggested by Gewa – the Grains of Faith, the Soul, the Partner Soul, the Secret Key and the knowledge of the Truth to go anywhere close to the Gate of the Cosmic City.
Thus, Autobiographical Note of a Wanderer, a Prologue to the Cosmic City is an attempt to define what success is all about, and how to trace it in the real life through mistaking, learning, earning and celebrating each moment of life. It is an attempt to lay out the path to an individual’s happiness and destiny! It helps you in finding your individual goal, defines the Grand Purpose of the humanity and upholds the age-old belief about the existence of the Intelligent Species. It also cheers the modern scientists for their logical realization of these species. Overall, the note is an appeal to support, promote and participate in Science in order to pursue the Truth, more so in the light of the dangers looming large on the humanity, solely caused by the climatic changes in general and the global warming in particular.

Note the plot: The young Indian boy from Bihar setsout on the journey of life and grows up while traveling parts of India andAmerica to pursue his goals and to understand the Grand Purpose. He getsa wake-up call when he finds 2012 predictions beating drums of apocalypses andcataclysms in 2011, while he is still in the United States of America. Hedecides to investigate into the truth behind the predictions and realizes theimportance of awareness in the mass about the global crises. While doing so, hetravels back to India and experiences the pertinent issues facing the explodingpopulation and its repercussions, irrespective of their awareness about 2012predictions.
He ventures out in the hills of the Himalayas in orderto find some clues about the Doom's Day through interpreting the signs andsymbols attached with the historical and religious monuments and the texts inIndian tradition. He learns that Modern Science so far has failed to predictabout any such events because it has neither such knowledge nor any technologyto acquire that knowledge. The human knowledge is so minuscule in comparison tothe vastness and complexity of the universe. It also happens so because hardlyone percent of the world population participates in the scientific researches. He realizes that there is an urgent need to engage larger portion of thepopulation into the scientific pursuits. He also realizes that he needs to havea family of his own before he faces one event against the other event in hislife. Thus, he recognizes the need to have a Partner Soul in hislife.
So, he is finally ready to marry. However, he does notfind it to be easy either. After living thirty-five years - going places, getting higher education and diverse experiences, it is far more difficult forhim to find a compatible match, who practices a robust set of principles inlife. He cannot go against the wishes of his parental family, he cannot defytheir beliefs and attitudes towards life, he cannot give up on his lifestyle, ambitions and global ideas and thoughts; and above all, he cannot lock himselfout from the information, common knowledge and personal realizations that heachieved through his education, experiences and researches about the humanlife, their individual and global objectives in general, and the threats to theMother Nature in particular.
In the meantime, while communicating with his parents,he finds that his parents are in total opposition to the idea. Actually, his father offers him a negotiationto marry an Indian girl through arranged marriage and to settle around inIndia, but he turns it down so that he will be able to marry his sweet-heart.
Moreover, he is always against the evils that surroundarranged-marriages in India. He communicates his concerns and aggressivelypersuades his parents to marry his American sweet-heart. He convinces them forhis own choice - a love-marriage with his American sweet-heart. She is verymuch an Indian by her heart and Soul; but again she is not less anAmerican by her mind and lifestyle. She has been so much waiting for hiscompanionship. Finally, he is able to put together his mind, heart and Soulto propose to his Partner Soul for the journey.
But again, it is not an easy process. He has to goback to the United States of America to be with her. There are numerous hurdlesto his destination; and at times, he is so discouraged by the red-tape. But henever gives up on anything - personal goals or social responsibilities or evenhis human objectives for that matter. His dream - to have a family, whereineach member is free to practice their religion in their personal faith - isabout to come so real. He finally decides to return to the United States of Americato build his family and pursue his dream. But before he prepares for his nextjourney to America, he sets out on yet another journey into the Himalayas toconfront the unfolding scenes caused by his choices in life.
The autobiography has numerous personal storiesseamlessly woven into chapters - the sub-cosmic cities we supposedlylive in. I, first, gradually lay out the foundation of the sub-Cosmic cities, which I think make an integral part of the human life. Then I progress intosketching the path beyond the sub-Cosmic cities and to the CosmicCity, I further explain why each one of the human beings needs to earn theprerequisites - the Grains ofFaith, the Soul, the Partner Soul, the Secret Key andthe knowledge of the Truth to go anywhere close to the Gate ofthe Cosmic City.
Thus, Autobiographical Note of a Wanderer, aPrologue to the Cosmic City is an attempt to define what success is allabout and how to trace it in the real life through mistaking, learning, earningand celebrating each moment of life.
