This book is one of those few that you read once and then wait for a cold night and read it again. I always love the books with several short stories by various authors because readers get a chance to experience new authors and we also get more for our buck (a definite plus). When the collection of stories is TEN stories of sensual Erotica, you know you are in for a smoldering hot read or two You can't go wrong with this book, and you WILL NOT be disappointed. This book exceeded my steamy expectations with some of the hottest reads from authors who know how to write erotica.

It is hard to pick a favorite because all of the books were well written and I really liked most of the books. I cannot recommend this book enough to Erotica/ Romance lovers.

A wonderful collection of 10 short stories by different authors. They are well written and well edited so they are a joy to read. As with any anthology, there are some stories that are more interesting than others, but there is undoubtedly a story to satisfy whatever your kink is, since every type of sex is covered, some rather cleverly twisted.

You have to hand it to the authors of this splashy coffee-table celebration of NBC's long-running soap: they know what fans want. The only words here are in photo captions and single-paragraph introductions, which is not such a bad thing for this handsome volume. Most of the book, arranged in day-in-the-life format, takes readers on a behind-the-scenes tour to wardrobe, makeup, dressing rooms, and the set, where actors rehearse and the bountiful homes seen on-air contrast sharply with the drab soundstages. There are trips inside dressing rooms for quiet moments and playful mugging, and ample space is devoted to veterans like Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes who, as Doug and Julie, were the Luke and Laura of the '70s. Longtime cast members like Peter Reckell and Kristian Alfonso, who became the daytime drama's '90s super-couple Bo and Hope, also show up often. Candid shots of the younger set are here too, and if it's excessive (why have just one photo of Shawn Christian changing his shirt when you can have four?), it only helps to illustrate what has kept fans tuning in for 45 years. Hint: it's not restraint.

About the Author

Greg Meng is Sr. Vice President, Corday Productions, Inc., and Executive in Charge of Production for Days of our Lives. He is co-author of the book Cooking With Days of our Lives. An Oklahoma native, Meng resides in Beverly Hills, California.

Eddie Campbell was born and raised in Los Angeles. He has a bachelor's degree from USC Annenberg School of Communication and USC School of Cinema-Television. His background is in art direction for both TV and film, creative direction, and graphic design.

It's full of raw emotion and high drama, set against the backdrop of Hollywood.  Let's just say I devoured this one. I started reading during lunch and finished by mid-afternoon. A fine, well-worked debut novel

Initially this seems to be a story ripped from the headlines of Hollywood glitzy magazines. Emmy nominated actress Lily Lockwood, daughter of famed novelist Daisy Lockwood, has her love life splattered across the front covers of every glad-mag published. Her life-style on display for all and sundry, the envy of all. Her hospital-themed drama, St Joe's, has taken the TV watching nation by storm and she is riding the crest of the wave until a single car accident brings her life tumbling to the ground.
As Lily is preparing for the biggest day of her life yet, she gets the news that her mother, who she owes all her success as an actress to, has been involved in an automobile accident and is in a coma. Dropping everything she flies across country to be at her mother's side. What she discovers is the worst possible scenario. Initially the shock is too much for her to understand the severity in the situation and she finds herself watching the hospital scenario sensing she can use the information to better her acting chops, but after the initial consultation with the surgeon, and his team, she realizes that Daisy may never recover from her coma and reality sets in.
As friends gather to offer support, Lily finds herself in a stage of discovery, family she never knew, the real story behind her actor boyfriend's apparent infidelity and the possibility of new romance, all playing out around her as her mother's life is slowly ebbing away. Caiola entertains us with a story pulled from life experiences she recently went through and uses them to project upon us a story of a life well-lived, redemption and she uses these seeds to project upon her audience the idea of a series of upcoming novels as Lily Lockwood. Hollywood actress, prepares to burst on to the American scene in book form too.
A fine, well-worked debut novel from a new, talented author that I heartily recommend.

I have a whole shelf of books that I'm in the "process " of reading, ( I've lost interest and there's nothing calling me back). I became attached to Lily, Daisy, and their "family" immediately and clung tightly as the fast paced story unfolded. Ms. Caiola created an engaging drama that had me laughing, crying, and smiling at the end as I reflected on a story well told.

About the Author

Stuart MacBride is the No 1 bestselling author of the Logan McRae series and Birthdays for the Dead.

The McRae novels have won him the CWA’s Dagger in the Library, the Barry Award for Best Debut Novel, and Best Breakthrough Author at the ITV3 Crime Thriller Awards. In 2012 Stuart was inducted into the ITV3 Crime Thriller Hall of Fame.

Their interactions are fun and insightful

I have read all nine of MacBride's Logan McRae novels, and they are all superb. His characters are interesting and they develop and grow through time. Their interactions are fun and insightful. The plots are complex and have surprises. Not a simple "who done it", it allows the reader to feel a part of the action. His descriptions of places, weather, sounds, etc. are amazing; so realistic.
